Richard's birthday!

Who is Richard? A very complicated person, but he is a very dedicated member to Group 5! 

He became our OO during track trip when the other seniors couldn't make it, and when his exams are only 2 days away!

Had a short celebration during lunch break for all the seniors. Long story cut short, picture tells all.

At first it was a normal gay relationship, then Richard came, and form a triangle love.

*jokers* 

Then, I have no idea about the details, but this happened.

The guys gang-'raped' Wai Liam.

Yes, all my group members are jokers. Spend one day with them, and you will laugh all you can in one year.

During the Midvalley trip.

Onesh with his addiction to Subway sandwiches. And he found the love(s) of his life: Puma, Adidas, Nike etc. 'When I'm in the shop, I just melted.' quoted by Onesh.

Haziq was like 'I miss the chocolate paus yesterday!' (chocolate paus = char siew paus)
Jagraj's desperation to get back because he's late for an important appointment/date. And he still refuses the guys following him to Subang. *grins*
Power walking! Jagraj's power walking = us running!


(realized that the guys are the crazies with girls being normal beings.)

The girls (Pearl, Cindy, Sally & I) had a good talk when we went for spaghetti(tom yam! & mushroom soup!)! One after another made confessions. Love love love the girls!




I felt strong bonds that won't break that easily already. =)))

10.30am straight down

After PBL session, everyone in Group 5 (well, not everyone) just spontaneously decided to go for dim sum in Kuchai Lama, at 10am ++, thanks to Pearl!

So it's just Jagraj, Onesh, Haziq, Pearl, Cindy, Bryan, Joshua and me heading to the place above!

Details about what we talked about...I doubt I want to remember since it's mostly dirty and racist jokes with a lot of foul language.

The only one lame joke that I can remember is about a senior explaining to Onesh from Sri Lanka why is claypot chicken named claypot chicken.

Answer: Because the chicken is grown in the claypot. They put food, and water inside the claypot, then they closed the lid and let it grow. That's why it's so tender and delicious.

Yeah I know. Lame. But we still laugh anyway. (The effects of having Jagraj at the same table does that)

After the breakfast/lunch(?), again, we spontaneously decided to go KLCC. 

It was an awesome trip with the gang of just the 6 of us (Jagraj, Haziq, Onesh, Cindy, Pearl & mua')! 

How is it that spending a few hours with people that are of different races and even country be so enjoyable when we have so little in common?

I know, we all  ♥ a laugh! 

The girls simply can't look at Jagraj face at all, with that smile that somehow make us laugh for no reason! *grinning still*

Then Onesh decided that when he gets back to Sri Lanka, he would open up a mall with Subway(especially the cookies, he's crazy 'bout them), Burger King, Bak Kut Teh, Wan Tan Soup, Dim Sum & Indomie. (weird combination eh?)

We shopped for like 2 hours for Onesh's formal shirt, let's just say it was a reproductive 2 hours since he got like 2 formal shirts and a new pair of shoes, and we girls got Gelato Fruity!

How many more of these good memories can I get? I hope it's endless!

Orientation Week(s)

Summary for Orientation.

21st Feb

Ice Breakers

There was the dry and wet one. 

Everyone group would have 22 burgers to finish, we have to finish the first by passing around the burger(everyone left a little 'essence' for the next person), only then we get to move on to the next one. 

For the wet ice breakers, what else?! They made us do soldier crawl, cheer fights and loads of other 'dirty' stuff. (imagine all you want)

At the end of the night, my hair was wet with water, flour, orange juice, dye, ketchup etc etc...

22nd Feb

Indoor Treasure Hunt

Couldn't remember much about this except that we lost in almost all the stations. *grins* Ooh, and there was the haunted PBL rooms as well, but I didn't get to go in. =((( 

(All I heard from Sally was that the room was lighted dimly by a candle, and they were rummaging through the stuff when someone just pops out of nowhere and that she screamed her lungs out.)

24th Feb

DressCode night! *Awesome, awesome, awesome!*

That night 14 orientation groups along with each team's GAG performed.

We practiced the dance choreographed by Cindy & Yong Sheng the previous day to perform it on that night. The skit given was Pinocchio, along with the song 'SexyBack', and we remixed it with 'Icebox'.

26th Feb

Track trip! We get to travel around KL by public transport(the ones that doesn't suck).

Let me recall where we went...

KL central 

Someone was supposed to wear some weird stuff and get a sundae cone from Mcdonald's, but Dharma got Mcflurry instead.

Merdeka Square 

Performed a skit of TAR declaring independence. Haziq as TAR, Hao as the 'bodyguard', Joshua as 'the-guy-standing-next-to-TAR' , mua' as microphone and the rest as audience. Had to shout out 'Merdeka' seven times. (spot 'Superman')

Pasar Seni

Went in to get 4 pictures that the station master showed us.

Bonus task: To sing the national Anthem to a group of strangers. 

Petaling Street

Station master gave us lists of food and we had to get 4 from each list, AND, we had to do a sl*tty pose with the food.

Sri Mahamariamman Temple

The task was to record a video, like a documentary, of someone describing and giving the facts of the insides of the temple. Onesh did this one. 

KLCC

Had Subway with the group by the lakeside! Strolling in the park and having our personal photographer senior KJ to capture the moments ♥!

When everyone saw the trees with the I-dunno-what-you-call-that, they just started to grab the long extensions and start swinging like Tarzans.

This is probably the most amazing orientation anyone could ever have. (thumbs up to the orientation commitee!)

Finale Night just ended. Surprise, surprise! Group 5 aka Opium 5 from 14 other groups actually won 1st for Orientation Group! (woohoo! jump jump jump!)

That's because we have the most amazing, awesome and aggresive seniors ♥ !

Seriously, without you guys, we would be a bunch of lost chicks! And also because of you guys, all of us are bonded so tightly, ready to open up wherever and whenever. *xoxoxoxoxo*

(I will never ever forget the 'wiggle wiggle' and helicopter part.)

Dress Code

Tonight was awesome man! Yeap, it's DressCode night!


Group no. 5 with the name Opium 5, practiced for less than 10 hours in 2 days preparing for tonight!
Thanks to our dancing genius, Cindy and awesome seniors who stayed with us throughout the nights!




Did I mention that it's awesome? Most of us doesn't have the slightest experience in choreography or dancing, but we put up the best performance that we could ever had. =))
Sounds exaggerated, I know, I'm feeling hyper!






That moment, when we are on the stage with hundreds pair of eyes on us, we didn't care about screwing up the steps, losing or winning the best performance title, we just did our best because we enjoyed it. I wasn't even nervous, I just wanted to have fun, and surprisingly, all of us did.
Boy do I wish that I could capture that moment!

Oh great, now my head is stuck with Sexyback.
